But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
(Isaiah 40:31 NKJV)
We are excited about our upcoming book tour through 12 US States in 3 weeks and
5,605 miles round trip. We are in the planning and booking appointments phase.
Please pray for us that this trip will be to the Glory of God, and that He will guide us and equip us to encourage souls on the way; for:
1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. (NIV)
Proverbs 27:17
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. (NIV)
Romans 15:2
Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. (NIV)
Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, (NIV)
The Creation Museum and the Ark in Kentucky are going to be two exciting places where will stop at. We have been talking about checking it out for a few years now and it’s finally going to happen.
But let me start at the beginning.
The first 3 days of our trip will be the longest with regard to the driving as we will be going straight from here through several States to our first stop in Dubuque, IA at the Emmaus Bible College.
From there on to Chicago where we have a TV interview scheduled. I am trying to get an appointment with Moody Bible Institute and Moody Radio which would be awesome!
A stop at our publisher WestBow Press in Bloomington, IN is next. Thinking to pick up some more books but most of all meet the nice, professional people we are working with to get our books published.
THEN we will spend a day checking out the Creation Museum and the ARK in Kentucky. That will be a highlight on this trip!
Next is going on to Nashville Tennessee, Birmingham Alabama, and Memphis Tennessee. Hopefully we can arrange meetings with radio and bookstore managers who requested copies of our books for review, as well as brothers and sisters in Christ to encourage them.
After that we are planning to visit The College of the Ozarks at Point Lookout, MO, a Christian College Campus. Jerry C. Davis, President of College of the Ozarks explains: “C of O is unique among higher education institutions in America: no tuition is charged, all students work on campus, debt is openly discouraged, and no federal, state or private loans are made.” We have stopped there before and had lunch at their restaurant which was excellent! It’s really worth a stop.
Our trip continues through Missouri and Kansas to Colorado. In Colorado Springs we are planning a stop at Focus on the Family, and maybe the Air Force Academy where Mike served and taught parachuting for many years of his military career.
Along the way we are hoping to connect with some family we haven’t seen in years, Lord willing.
Please pray that the Lord will point us to the open doors He has for us to spread the Good News and be a tool in His hand!
1 Peter 4:11
If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. (NIV)
Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. (NKJV)
Congratulations on your book tour. I pray that God will be with you guys every step of the way as you give him glory and edify his kingdom🙏

Thank you for praying. Much appreciated. We do want to bring glory to God and not ourselves.

We will be in touch when we get closer to finalizing all the meetings on the way. However, already know that we will only be in Joplin for 2 nights and Mike wants to touch base with everyone.
