Yes, what happened in 2022?
We haven’t been in touch since June 2022 for several reasons, mostly health reasons.
On June 2nd during our stay in Germany, visiting family, Mike fell and broke his hip. Now he has a hip “Made in Germany”! This extended our trip by a few weeks before we could fly home to Canada.
Unfortunately, when Mike fell he twisted his bad knee, so that we had to make a trip to Houston, Texas to have the knee replaced. We did this in September 2022.
A new hip and new knee in that short period of time took its toll but Mike was in good physical shape before the fall and is recovering well.
In the meantime, Mike has used the time off to write another book titled “The Choice”! It’s in editing and we hope to publish it very soon. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
