The Book of Revelation teaches us so very much. Once we get to the end we are able to understand prophecies which have already been fulfilled and the ones which are still due to be fulfilled. Armed with this knowledge we are prepared for the day of the rapture, and I believe that we will have the driving desire to reach out to family and friends and maybe even strangers who are not yet prepared and tell them the truth about the future as well as eternity!

REVELATION 6:15-17
15And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

People will want to die but can’t. The great day of His wrath begins Christ’s judgment—a “Day of the Lord.”

Commentary:
Ezekiel 32:6-8 concerns the sun, moon and stars, and Ezekiel’s prophecy lines up with the words of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Joel 1:15 Alas for the day! For the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as destruction from the Almighty.
Commentary:
In Joel 1:15 again the prophecies relating to the beginning of the Great Tribulation are all in miraculous agreement.

Joel 2:31 31“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.”
Commentary:
In Joel 2:1, 11, 31 **the trumpet is used to alarm the people to the seriousness of the crisis that is upon them. A double figure of locusts and a future invading army may be intended in verses 1-11. Nature has not gone awry; the locusts are not beyond God’s control. They move at His specific command.** We read of this also in Exodus when Pharaoh’s heart was hardened: Exodus 10:4: “Or else, if you refuse to let My people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your territory.” The great and awesome day of the LORD spoken of in verse 31 *will be preceded by wonders in the heavens. Some of these predicted signs are blood, fire, pillars of smoke, the sun turning into darkness and the moon into blood. All who turn to Jesus as Messiah (Christ, Savior), calling on His name, will be saved to enter the Millennium with Him.* Joel informs us of the breathtaking might before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.
